The standard we aim at
This website aims at the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. Not every page has been tested against every rule, so we say "aim at", not "meets".
How the website is built
- Buttons are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to tap.
- Text and background colours are chosen for clear contrast, in both the light and the dark look.
- It is built to be used with a keyboard alone.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, the animations stop.
- It is built to work without JavaScript. Phone numbers and the clinic address are plain text.
- Photographs have text descriptions for screen readers.
- Pages use real headings, so a screen reader can jump between sections.
Known limits
- The clinic map comes from Google and works the way Google built it. The clinic address is always written out in full on the same page.
